Coprosma virescens (Mingimingi) is an upright NZ native shrub with fine, pale-green leaves held on distinctive divaricating stems. Its mottled grey, cream and pale-yellow bark adds subtle year-round interest, while its white to green-tinged fruit provides an important food source for native birds. The airy, interlaced structure gives it a light, textural presence in both native and mixed plantings.

Growing to around 3m tall and 2m wide, Coprosma virescens is fast growing, hardy and tolerant of dry, windy and exposed conditions.
