Coprosma 'Lobster' is a striking NZ native shrub with vibrant red foliage and a dense network of interwoven branches that create bold texture in the landscape. A variant of Coprosma rugosa, it is extremely tough and well-suited to exposed, dry or cold sites. Its upright, structured form makes it ideal for mass planting, low hedges and adding year'round colour contrast to native or mixed plantings.

Growing to around 3m tall and 2m wide, Coprosma 'Lobster' thrives in full sun to partial shade and performs reliably in Queenstown and Central Otago conditions. Evergreen, hardy and low'maintenance, it is an excellent choice for difficult sites, modern landscapes and resilient native gardens.
