Westringia fruticosa 'Low Horizon'

Westringia fruticosa 'Low Horizon' is a compact, low-growing coastal rosemary cultivar valued for its tight, rounded form and fine grey-green foliage. Naturally dense and highly uniform, it creates a clean, modern look in borders, mass plantings and low hedging. Small white to pale-mauve flowers appear throughout the warmer months, adding soft seasonal interest without disrupting its tidy shape.

Reaching around 30-50cm tall and 1-1.5m wide, 'Low Horizon' thrives in full sun to partial shade and prefers well-drained soils. Exceptionally hardy, it tolerates wind, salt, heat and dry conditions, making it ideal for exposed sites across Queenstown and Central Otago. Minimal trimming is needed to maintain its low, sculptural form.
