Corokia 'Emerald and Jade' is a compact, upright NZ native shrub with fine, interlaced branches and fresh emerald-green foliage that deepens to rich jade tones through the seasons. Its tidy, structured form makes it ideal for hedging, screening and modern native plantings. Small yellow star-shaped flowers appear in summer, followed by ornamental berries that attract birds.

Growing to around 2m tall and wide, 'Emerald and Jade' thrives in full sun to partial shade and tolerates dry, windy and frosty conditions once established. Hardy and low-maintenance, it performs reliably across Queenstown and Central Otago, making it an excellent choice for exposed sites, coastal gardens, mixed native borders and clipped formal designs. Evergreen and resilient, it provides year-round structure and subtle colour contrast.
