Corokia buddleioides is a handsome, multi-branched NZ native shrub with long, narrow green leaves and a naturally slender, upright form. Tolerant of shade, it is excellent for low shelter, hedging and mixed native plantings, with a look similar to Corokia 'Geenty's Green'. In summer the bush is smothered in bright yellow star-shaped flowers, creating a striking seasonal display.

Growing to around 2m tall and wide, Corokia buddleioides thrives in full sun, partial shade or full shade, and performs well in coastal, dry or frosty areas once established. Evergreen and hardy--though frost tender when young--it is well-suited to Queenstown and Central Otago gardens, offering year-round structure and reliable performance in a range of conditions.
